Letter to Homeowners April 1, 2026

In our continuing effort to keep our customers informed of changes in the Water District, we want to inform you of a recent supplier change. John Volk of Water Quality Control Professionals, our water operator, resigned due to business reasons, effective 28 February 2026. We would like to thank John and his company for his years of service to the District. We are pleased to announce that ORC Water Professional will be providing water engineering services to the Swans Nest Metro District, effective 1 March 2026. ORC is a Wheat Ridge, Colorado based company with staff located in Summit County. We look forward to working with ORC.

If you encounter issues with your water, please contact 720-287-0605 with your name, address and phone number along with a description of the issue. ORC’s local water treatment operator (Jared Herzing) will investigate your concerns at his earliest availability. On a monthly basis, ORC will be reporting all worked performed within the district to the Board. As a reminder, homeowners are responsible from the curbstop (water main) to the residence including the service line, all plumbing and irrigation systems, The water meter installed within the residence by the District will continue to be maintained at the cost of the District (unless tampering or alterations have been discovered).

ORC has been onsite effective 1 March and look forward to working with them.
